Born to a family of chefs in Hardiwar, India in 1979, Isham ‘Chef’ Singh was meant to be a culinary master. His brother began culinary school ahead of him, but Singh completed his degree in Culinary Arts in Delhi in 1995. When he graduated, he began cooking for a premiere hotel in Delhi before he moved to the United Kingdom in 2001. There, he worked in Birmingham at the Shre-E-Punjab restaurant until he decided to bring his culinary prowess to the United States in 2003, relocating to Virginia. Singh worked his way through the south, living in Virginia, South Carolina, and eventually North Carolina. In 2012, he embarked upon his restaurant, Kasturi, with partner BJ Patel in Greenville, NC. Together they wish to provide you with delicious indian foods along with premier service.
